What are the best resources to look at if I want to understand what the CDI is, how it works, and how it relates to Alma?

The CDI (Central Discovery Index) is the primary source for records in OneSearch for things like articles, book chapters, etc.

First, watch the video by Dana Moshkovitz from Ex Libris, "Alma and CDI Single Activation." Also useful is this index page of introductory information about the CDI on the Ex Libris Knowledge Center.
