In Alma, there are three types of electronic collections.
- Database
- Electronic resource that can’t be divided into individual titles
- E.g., ARTstor, Encyclopedia Britannica, Web of Science
- Aggregator package
- Electronic resource where you have access to all electronic titles
- E.g., Academic Search Complete, JSTOR, ProQuest Research Library
- Selective package
- Electronic resource where you only have access to some electronic titles
- E.g., Cambridge Histories Online, Kanopy, Wiley Online Library
