Rialto is a free marketplace for academic libraries. It's built directly on top of Alma, so you can search, order, and process quality print and electronic resources all in one place.
You can watch a demonstration of Rialto for CUNY, download the presentation slides, access the Rialto LibGuide, and more in the "Links & Files" section below.
Here's how to get into the Rialto implementation queue:
Sign the one-page Rialto framework agreement linked below. This is required from each library to get into the Rialto implementation queue. It simply states that each library is responsible for its own Rialto purchases. There is no cost for Rialto itself and no minimum spend requirement—so each library decides how and for what to use Rialto.
Be advised that the larger Rialto LOA "framework agreement" has already been approved by both CUNY Procurement and Legal Departments on behalf of all members—so this agreement covers all CUNY libraries.
Email your library's signed one-page form to Theresa.Herbst@Clarivate.com. Once received, she will set up an information-gathering meeting for your library, specifically, to guide 1:1 implementation & training.
