Which search fields are custom indexed in Alma?

This page lists which bibliographic fields are configured for search in Alma by default. This page lists which inventory and other non-bibliographic fields are configured for search in Alma by default. The table below shows additional fields configured by CUNY for searching in Alma.

COUNTER Platform

  • The fields "COUNTER Platform" (for electronic portfolios) and "Electronic Collection COUNTER Platform" (for electronic collections) come from the list of platforms included in the COUNTER reports loaded in Alma. In order to have values appear in this list, you must have loaded COUNTER reports.
  • If this information is present at both the electronic collection and electronic portfolio levels, the "COUNTER Platform" (for electronic portfolios) overrides "Electronic Collection COUNTER Platform" (for electronic collections)
