How do you automatically update your electronic holdings from Preselect?

Alma can be set up to retrieve holdings files from Preselect and manage your electronic resources in Alma based on those files. This feature will activate, deactivate, or update ebooks and ejournals for your institution.

1. Obtain a Client ID for your institution from the provider. You can obtain a Preselect Client ID by emailing info@content-select.com.

2. Activate the following electronic collection from the Community Zone (CZ):

  • PreSelect All eJournals (Community Zone Electronic Collection ID = 615470000000000269)
  • Content-Select Global Alltitles (Community Zone Electronic Collection ID = 614910000000000005)

Use the following settings:

3. Open a support ticket with OLS and share the Client ID you got from Preselect. Specify who at your library should receive notifications about the success or failure of the autoload.
